Structural and Compliance Notes for This Sector

High-rise residential towers above G+15 face significant facade wind loads under IS 875 Part 3. Balcony railings must resist both the IS 875 Part 5 guardrail load (0.75 kN/m horizontal minimum for residential) and the IS 875 Part 3 wind pressure on the glazing panel. NBC 2016 requires minimum railing heights of 1,050mm for buildings above 12m — our structural calculations cover both load cases for every high-rise order.

High-rise residential projects typically involve repetitive floor plans with large railing quantities — 200 to 600 balconies per tower in major developments. We manage phased delivery coordinated to your floor-by-floor construction programme, with consistent batch quality across the full order. Material test certificates are provided per batch, not per delivery.

Railings India, part of Sun Corporation India, manufactures glass balcony railings, SS staircase systems and aluminium window packages from Hyderabad for residential developers, PMC consultants and EPC tower contractors. Reference supply includes a G+40 residential tower in Hyderabad — 1,200 running feet of frameless glass balustrade with IS 875 Part 3 wind calculations and NBC 2016 height compliance supplied as standard on high-rise orders.

High-Rise Residential — NBC 2016 / IS 875 Specification Matrix

Reference specification matrix for developer PMC submittals, RERA tower packages and EPC balcony BOQs. Values align to NBC 2016 Part 4 and IS 875 Parts 3 and 5. Towers above G+14 require 1050 mm balcony height and IS 875 Part 3 wind zone calculation — mandatory for coastal and high-wind inland locations.
