Full-height toughened glass partition systems with minimal aluminium channel fixing. Maximum transparency for corporate headquarters, airport lounges, hospitals and institutional buildings. NBC 2016 compliant. Pan India supply.
Get a QuoteFrameless glass partition systems from Railings India use 10mm or 12mm IS 2553 toughened glass panels secured with minimal aluminium channel at floor and ceiling. No vertical aluminium frame sections between panels — pure glass-to-glass joints with structural silicone or stainless steel patch fittings. The specification for corporate headquarters, airport executive lounges and high-specification institutional environments where visual openness is the primary design requirement.
Frameless glass partitions are the standard specification for corporate headquarters and executive floor fit-outs where the open, transparent aesthetic reinforces brand identity. Full-height 12mm toughened glass panels with SS patch hardware — no aluminium frame interrupting the floor-to-ceiling glass plane. Supplied to large corporate office projects across India.
Frameless glass partition systems for airport business class lounges, VIP suites and executive terminal facilities. Maximum transparency allows security sight lines while providing spatial separation — a key requirement for airport lounge specifications. Full AAI submission documentation supplied.
Frameless glass partitions for hospital consultation suites, specialist clinics and ward observation areas where visual supervision is required. No horizontal aluminium ledges to collect dust — infection-control compliant. IS 2553 toughened glass prevents injury on impact.
Frameless glass partition systems for conference facilities in IIT campuses, government buildings, convention centres and institutional headquarters. Full-height glass walls for high-specification meeting and boardroom environments — visual openness maintains connection between spaces while providing acoustic separation.

A frameless glass partition uses full-height glass panels with only a minimal aluminium channel at floor and ceiling for structural fixing. There are no vertical aluminium mullions between panels — glass-to-glass joints are sealed with structural silicone or connected with stainless steel patch fittings. This gives maximum visual transparency compared to framed systems.
Frameless glass partitions require 10mm or 12mm IS 2553 toughened glass for structural integrity without a supporting frame. The minimum thickness is determined by panel height and width — our technical team calculates the required thickness for each project based on NBC 2016 glazing span tables and wind load requirements.
Standard frameless glass partitions achieve STC 28–33. This is lower than framed systems because frameless joints (silicone seals) transmit more sound than the rubber gaskets in framed systems. For spaces requiring STC 38+, we recommend upgrading to framed double-glazed or acoustic partition systems.
Yes. Frameless glass partition systems integrate pivot or swing glass doors in matching 10mm or 12mm toughened glass with stainless steel floor spring and overhead closer. Sliding glass door configurations are also available. All door hardware is in brushed or mirror-finish stainless steel to match the frameless aesthetic.
Yes. All glass used in our frameless partition systems is IS 2553 toughened safety glass, which breaks into small granular pieces rather than sharp shards. This is the mandatory safety glass standard under NBC 2016 for use in partitions and internal glazing in commercial and institutional buildings.
12mm IS-certified toughened glass in NBC 2016 compliant systems. Full documentation for institutional procurement and authority approval.
No vertical frame sections — pure floor-to-ceiling glass for corporate, airport and institutional environments where visual openness is the specification requirement.
All patch fittings, hinges, handles and floor springs in brushed or mirror stainless steel. Consistent high-specification finish for executive environments.

Request a QuoteFrameless glass partition panels must carry their own structural load without intermediate frame support — which means the glass itself is the structural element. This requires 10mm minimum toughened glass for standard floor-to-ceiling heights up to 3,000mm. For heights above 3,000mm or panel widths above 1,200mm, 12mm toughened is the correct specification. NBC 2016 Chapter 4 requires all glass in locations subject to human impact to be safety glass conforming to IS 2553 — standard float glass is not compliant.
For frameless partitions in schools, hospitals or any children's occupancy, we recommend laminated glass rather than monolithic toughened glass. If a toughened panel is struck hard enough to break, the fragments — though blunt — will fall into the occupied space. Laminated glass retains the fragments within the interlayer, dramatically reducing injury risk from breakage events.
In frameless systems, adjacent panels are connected glass-to-glass at vertical joints using structural silicone sealant — typically a two-part neutral-cure silicone to ASTM C1184 or equivalent. The joint width is typically 6–10mm, allowing for minor glass dimension tolerance and differential thermal movement. The silicone provides both the air seal and the structural connection at panel edges.
For 90° corner returns in frameless systems, we use purpose-fabricated corner channels or spider fittings depending on the system. Simple butt-joint silicone corners at 90° are structurally possible but create a potential weak point in the perimeter seal — we prefer channel-supported corners for partition systems that have any acoustic performance requirement above STC 32.
