Railings India has supplied precision-manufactured railing and glazing systems to construction projects across 18 states over the past two decades. Our work spans the full range of India's construction activity — from 40-floor residential towers in Hyderabad and Mumbai to airport terminal expansions, metro rail stations, multi-speciality hospitals, SEZ developments and institutional campuses.
Every project on this page was supplied from our manufacturing facility in Hyderabad, with full IS 875 and NBC 2016 structural compliance documentation, third-party material test certificates, and site coordination by our project team. We do not resell or broker systems — everything is fabricated in-house, which is why large EPC contractors and developers consistently specify Railings India for their critical railing and glazing requirements.
The six project categories below represent the verticals where our systems are most commonly specified. Each brings different structural, finish and compliance requirements — which our in-house engineering team handles from drawing stage to installation sign-off.
Glass Balcony Railings · SS Staircase Railings · Aluminium Windows
High-rise residential towers are our largest project category by volume. Balcony railings on buildings above G+15 floors must meet NBC 2016 height requirements (typically 1,200mm for habitable floors) and carry IS 875 Part 3 wind load certification. We supply frameless glass balustrade systems in 12mm toughened or 10.38mm laminated glass, with channel or standoff fixing depending on slab edge conditions.
For hospitality projects — hotels and service apartments — we supply staircase railings in SS 316 or designer aluminium profiles, with mirror or satin finish to match interior specifications. Full shop drawings and structural calculations are provided as standard for all high-rise and hospitality orders.
Industrial Safety Railings · Handrails · Platform Edge Systems
Metro rail and infrastructure projects require railing systems built to significantly higher structural standards than commercial buildings. Platform edge handrails must resist crowd-load impacts, and station concourse railings must meet Harmonised Accessibility Guidelines alongside NBC 2016. We have supplied SS 304 and SS 316 handrail systems to metro station projects, with full material traceability — mill test certificates, third-party inspection reports and IS 4270 compliance documentation.
For road and flyover infrastructure, we supply hot-dip galvanised CRCA railing systems to IS 2062 structural grade. These are specified where cost efficiency and long-term corrosion protection in outdoor, high-traffic environments is the primary requirement.
Glass Partitions · Frameless Balustrade · Curtain Wall Systems
Airport terminal projects require railing and glazing systems that combine structural performance with high-finish aesthetics at large scale. Departure lounges and terminal concourses use frameless glass balustrade systems and full-height glass partitions to manage passenger flow while maintaining sightlines. Security screening zones and airline lounges use acoustic glass partition systems, typically STC 38 to STC 45, to manage noise between zones.
We supply all systems with full Airport Authority of India (AAI) compliance documentation where required, including NBC 2016 Chapter 4 compliance for glass partitions and IS 875 Part 3 structural load certification for all railing and balustrade systems.

Hospitals and educational institutions have some of the most demanding railing specifications. Hospitals require handrails that meet the National Building Code's Harmonised Accessibility Guidelines — 900mm height on ramps, 1,000mm on stairs — in oval or circular tube profiles that patients can grip easily. ICU and consultation room glass partitions need STC 42 to STC 50 acoustic performance to meet clinical privacy requirements.
For IIT campuses, central universities and AIIMS-type institutions, we have supplied staircase and corridor railing systems in SS 304 with a consistent satin finish across multiple buildings, providing the documentation and batch consistency that large institutional procurement requires.

IT parks and corporate campuses are the largest buyers of office glass partition systems in India. Open-plan floors with frameless glass partition systems allow natural light transmission while providing acoustic separation between work zones, meeting rooms and management cabins. We supply frameless, framed and acoustic glass partition systems for SEZ developments and corporate fit-outs across Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Pune and Chennai.
Aluminium sliding and casement window systems for IT park towers are typically specified in 6063-T5 alloy with double glazed units (DGU) for ECBC compliance. We supply full ECBC documentation for all aluminium window systems supplied to commercial buildings.

Industrial facilities, warehouses and SEZ manufacturing units require heavy-duty railing systems built to IS 800 structural steel standards. Mezzanine floor guard rails, staircase safety railings and machinery area barriers must resist operational impact loads and require hot-dip galvanising for corrosion protection in production environments.
We supply CRCA mild steel and structural steel railing systems to IS 2062 Grade E250 for industrial applications, with full structural load calculations and factory inspection documentation. For SEZ developments combining industrial and office functions, we supply both the industrial-grade safety systems and the glass partition or aluminium glazing systems for the office component from a single source.
