Get a QuoteRailings India manufactures and supplies the complete range of glass partition systems for large-scale commercial, institutional and infrastructure projects across India. All systems use toughened glass to IS 2553 and comply with NBC 2016 glazing provisions. Systems are available with full project documentation for EPC tendering and institutional procurement. Minimum order: 500 sq ft. Supply timeline: 3–5 weeks from drawing approval.
Maximum transparency with minimal aluminium channel fixing at floor, ceiling and wall. Panels of 10mm or 12mm toughened glass, full height. Hardware in brushed or mirror-finish stainless steel. For corporate headquarters, airport executive lounges, hospital consultation suites and institutional conference facilities where visual openness is a primary specification requirement. STC 28–33. Aluminium framed glass partition systems — the most widely specified partition type for cost-sensitive large-scale projects. 8mm or 10mm toughened glass in 6063-T5 aluminium section frames. Available as single-glazed or double-glazed (for improved acoustic performance). For commercial offices, hospital wards, shopping mall fit-outs, IT parks and institutional buildings. STC 33–38. View Framed Partitions
STC 38–50 acoustic glass partition systems using laminated acoustic interlayer glass or double-glazed units with air/gas cavity. For hospital consulting rooms, government boardrooms, airport business lounges and confidential institutional spaces where sound separation is a critical specification requirement. Glass partition systems for airport executive lounges, business class waiting areas, security screening offices and administrative zones. Full documentation for Airport Authority of India (AAI) and private airport operator submission. Frameless systems preferred for lounges; framed for back-of-house office zones.
Frameless and acoustic glass partitions for hospital consultation suites, patient privacy screens, pharmacy counters, ICU observation windows and administrative offices. Infection-control compliant — no horizontal frame ledges that collect dust. Supplied to NABH-accredited hospital projects across India.
Demountable framed glass partition systems for IT park fit-outs and SEZ office developments. Landlord-and-tenant specifications available — core-and-shell documentation for base build, fit-out specifications for tenant interiors. Systems compatible with raised floor and suspended ceiling grid interfaces.
Glass partition systems for mall management offices, food court separators, anchor store fit-outs and retail banking units. High-transparency framed systems allow security sight lines while providing spatial separation. Full-height systems from slab to slab for fire compartmentation documentation.
Acoustic and frameless glass partition systems for government secretariat buildings, university administrative blocks, IIT and IIM campus facilities and public sector institutions. Works contract documentation supplied. CPWD specification references available on request.
All glass used in our partition systems conforms to IS 2553 (Safety Glass) — toughened for standard applications and laminated for acoustic systems. NBC 2016 Chapter 4 governs the use of glass in partitions in commercial and institutional buildings, specifying minimum thickness by panel area and location. We supply IS test certificates with every project.
Our minimum supply quantity is 500 sq ft of partition area. This applies to all system types — frameless, framed and acoustic. For large project packages (5000+ sq ft), we provide dedicated project management and fixed-price supply agreements. Contact our technical team for project-specific pricing.
Yes. Our framed aluminium glass partition systems are fully demountable and reconfigurable. This is particularly relevant for IT park and SEZ office fit-outs where tenant churn requires periodic reconfiguration. Frameless systems can also be partially demounted, though panel replacement is required. We supply AutoCAD drawings to facilitate reconfiguration planning.
NABH standards for hospital patient privacy typically require a minimum STC of 40 for consultation rooms adjacent to waiting areas. Our acoustic glass partition systems achieve STC 38–50 depending on the configuration. For spaces where medical confidentiality is critical, we recommend our STC 45+ double-glazed acoustic system with perimeter acoustic seals.
We supply fire-rated glass partition systems (E30, E60, EI30, EI60) for projects requiring fire compartmentation documentation under NBC 2016 Part 4. Fire-rated systems use Georgian wired glass or fire-rated borosilicate glass in steel or specialist aluminium frames. Contact us with your project fire strategy documentation for system selection.
All glass partition systems manufactured to Indian standards with full IS test documentation. Accepted by institutional procurement teams and works contract authorities.
Frameless, framed, acoustic and fire-rated glass partitions from one manufacturer. Single vendor for the full partition package — simpler procurement, consistent quality.
Shop drawings, section details, glass certificates, acoustic test reports and wind load calculations supplied as standard. Ready for EPC tender and authority submission.

Request a QuoteSTC (Sound Transmission Class) is the most misunderstood specification parameter in glass partition procurement. Higher is better — but the number alone does not indicate which frequencies are attenuated well or poorly. For office fit-outs, STC 35–38 is the practical minimum for a functional meeting room: speech at normal volume is audible but not intelligible. STC 42–45 is required for confidential conversations — HR rooms, legal offices, boardrooms. Clinical privacy in hospital consulting rooms typically requires STC 45–50.
The critical point: STC performance is determined by the weakest element, and in a glass partition system that is almost always the perimeter seal, not the glass. A 12mm panel rated STC 38 in laboratory conditions performs at STC 28–30 on site if the floor track seal is compressed unevenly or the ceiling fixing leaves a 3mm gap. Acoustic partition performance is a systems and installation question, not just a glass thickness question.
Standard commercial heights of 2,700mm–3,200mm are handled by our standard profiles without additional engineering. Above 3,200mm — common in double-height lobbies and exposed-slab floors at 3.5–4.0m — glass panel weight and lateral loads increase significantly and structural calculations are required. Above 4,500mm, monolithic panels become impractical to handle and install — mullioned systems with a structural aluminium section at mid-height are the standard solution, designed to minimise visual interruption.
The partition top channel is the critical MEP coordination point: continuous for structural and acoustic performance, but HVAC, sprinklers, lighting and data services frequently run in the ceiling void directly above the partition line. We work with project MEP coordinators at shop drawing stage to agree penetration locations and acoustic seal continuity — uncoordinated penetrations are the most common reason acoustic partitions underperform their specification on site.
For demountable fit-out configurations where tenants may reconfigure in 5–7 years, we supply clip-fix frame systems rather than bonded silicone joints. Slightly higher upfront cost; glass panels are reusable rather than destroyed on reconfiguration. Both economically and environmentally preferable to replacement.
